2018-19 NSDCC training
Date of Event : Wed Aug 1, 2018 1:53PM

Hi guys

Well it has come around again and it is time to start preparing to defend our titles for those who won them, and climb another rung for those who didn’t.

First and Second grade will start their official fixtures on September 1, with their 50 Over per side competitions and 3rd to 6th grades start on September 15, with 40 over per side matches. Lord's Taverners U16 one day matches will start on Sunday September 9. Some trial games have been organised and teams will be generally be selected from those who attend training.

All new players are welcome to attend and see if you have what it takes to play in Premier Grade cricket

The committee is committed to all players fees being $500.
A $50 coloured uniform levy will be applied to all of those in 1’s, 2’s and Tav’s. There is also a possibility of a Sunday one day competition with colour clothes for a mixed lower grade team this season and this will also draw a uniform levy of $50
All Strictly no pay, no play

Training has begun and will be initially on Tuesdays and Thursdays 5.30pm to 7.45pm both nights.

CLUB HELMET ANNOUNCEMENT
QLD Cricket has begun a partnership with Masuri helmets and Greg Chappell Cricket Centre to offer exclusive prices to QLD Premier Cricket players. Great prices are available for every budget. Clubs can place a bulk order (minimum of 30), with Masuri then producing the various helmets in club colours with logo. These prices are only available on a BULK order and can't be accessed with an individual purchase.

Feel free to head into your nearest Greg Chappell Cricket Centre to try out the right size and then send through your specifications to michael.wright@qldcricket.com.au

This partnership is also linked to player safety, with British Standard helmets becoming mandatory for all Australian club cricketers by next season 2019/20.

Like with the baggy in the field last season, it would be great to see most of the regular club players wearing a Norths helmet.
